Chinese Journal of GEOCHEMISTRY《中国地球化学（英文）》创刊于1982年。为了进一步提高期刊国际影响力，编委会决定由2016年第一期起，将期刊名称改为Acta Geochimica 《地球化学学报（英文）》。
Acta Geochimica《地球化学学报（英文）》作为一本颇具影响力的学术刊物，在国际学术交流中发挥着重要作用。本刊特别关注地球化学学科的最新成果和发展，包括地球化学方面的新思想、新理论、新方法和新产品,地球化学实例剖析及经验,交叉学科的综合总体水平和业绩等。本刊倡导技术综合，技术渗透，突出创新，讲求实效，注重成果，及时跟踪前沿技术研究信息。本刊多次获得全国及中科院优秀期刊奖，并被国内外多家检索系统收录，如美国的化学文摘CA(Chemical Abstracts)， GeoRef，俄罗斯文摘杂志(AJ of VINITI)，美国石油文摘 (PA)，美国剑桥科学文摘(CSA)。
本刊主要内容包括地球化学、矿床地球化学、同位素地球化学及年代学；有机地球化学、宇宙地球化学、环境地球化学、元素地球化学、实验地球化学、岩石学、矿物学等方面的最新研究成果及岩矿测试新技术、新方法。
Acta Geochimica《地球化学学报（英文）》的每一篇文章都经过同行评议的严格审核，本刊现实行网络系统投稿，文章一旦被录用，将会进行专业的文字编辑，排版以及文献检查，以确保文章高质量发行。本刊为季刊，是拥有独立稿源的学术期刊。

Acta Geochimica serves as the international forum for essential research on geochemistry, the science that uses the tools and principles of chemistry to explain the mechanisms behind major geological systems such as the Earth‘s crust, its oceans and the entire Solar System, as well as a number of processes including mantle convection, the formation of planets and the origins of
granite and basalt. The journal focuses on, but is not limited to the following aspects:
• Cosmochemistry
• Mantle Geochemistry
• Ore-deposit Geochemistry
• Organic Geochemistry
• Environmental Geochemistry
• Computational Geochemistry
• Isotope Geochemistry
• NanoGeochemistry
All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review. In addition to original research articles, Acta Geochimica publishes reviews and short communications, aiming to rapidly disseminate the research results of timely interest, and comprehensive reviews of emerging topics in all the areas of geochemistry.
